Dear friends:

The campaign has been working hard to get back into gear, and now we need your
support.

We're looking for people who would be willing to be precinct captains in their
neighborhoods in District 2.

Precinct captains are traditionally a part of political campaigns. They help
campaigns get rooted in the neighborhoods and also help get people's concerns
relayed back to a campaign.

There are 35 precincts in District 2, and we're hoping to find 35 people who
would be willing to do the following:

* put up signs in their precinct
* talk to their neighbors about Aimee Allison
* keep your eyes open about events in your neighborhood that the campaign could to
* recruit your neighbors to host house meetings for Aimee

It's a great way to meet your neighbors and to get the word out about
progressive change in Oakland. But most importantly, it will help make Aimee's
campaign visible and local.

If you don't live in District 2 but would like to help work with someone who
does, let us know and we'll pair you up with someone.
