Sat, September 29, 2007 - 10:53 AM... and in Danbury, CT... and soonish in Oregon and/or Cali. Talk to Shifty, Stickman, and Ewok about the other year in Danbury. It was sick. Anyway, it's a 3-day weekend retreat that focuses on CJ/Sphereplay, but also includes other object manipulation and circus art forms (poi, staff, devil/flower stix, diabolo, hoops, acrobalance, contact improve, prestidigitation/slight of hand, etc). The emphasis is on colaboration, a fun learning environment, and playful creativity.

Re: Spherecamping
Sat, September 29, 2007 - 10:58 AMAnother quick addition: Spherecamp is about participation. It is what you bring to it (kinda like that thing those weirdos do in the desert with that really tall guy...). We have playshops, not workshops, which is about facilitating cooperative creative play, not so much being a carbon copy of a lesson plan. So come with your creativity ready to spark the communal flame!
