During the first score of your life, your hats shall be gray, during your first score and ten, the color you shall wear is black and unveiled. The second score and later, our most grand years, while wearing the black hat, that is now veiled, the embellishments grow larger.
The hats we wear reflect the year and stylings of our anachronistic lives.
Bonus, if when you are out with the rest of the women of the Society. You wear clothing that goes with your hat!

Re: Guidelines for the Society
Tue, June 13, 2006 - 11:13 PMYeah, I was SO big-time trying to avoid Hallowe'en... unless there's some other appropriate date (like the day of Bauhaus' first gig or the day the Batcave opened), Oct 30 works for me...

Re: Guidelines for the Society
Wed, June 14, 2006 - 1:33 PMPeter's b'day is July 11 (CANCER!!!!). Bauhaus' first single, "Bela Lugosi's Dead" (of course!) was released in August 1979, but no exact date. Bauhaus' debut as a band was New Years Eve, December 31, 1978. However, Bauhaus' final concert together was July 5, 1983 (the '98 and 2005 reunions don't count).
So:
July 11
July 5
August 1 (for want of an exact release date, which also coincides with Lunassagh, heh)
Dec 31 (way too busy a date!)

Re: Guidelines for the Society
Wed, June 14, 2006 - 1:47 PMYou know, I learn toward either our Godfather, Peter's, birthday of July 11 or August 1 as the month in which "Bela Lugosi's Dead" first came out. I find those the most appropos. As his b'day really does mark the beginning of Gothdom (since he was the major instigator), what say you of July 11?
