This is a bit strange, I know, but I'm looking for a one way ride for my cooler - Columbus to Black Rock.
I'm flying out there on an airline that now has fees to check luggage. I've always taken my cooler and used it to pack stuff in, but now I think I'll just leave it at home unless someone driving has room for it. I work for the event and am leaving next week (Thurs the 14th), so I'd deliver it to you sometime soon, before I go.
Thanks!

Fri, August 8, 2008 - 11:24 AMare you flying into Reno? They have a UPS store which I have shipped a cooler full of camping stuff to for not too much. -

Fri, August 8, 2008 - 12:09 PMYep, flying to Reno. I'll look into this - do you remember approx. how much it cost?
The cheapest option might be to just buy one in Reno, although that seems kind of silly.
I'm stopping in Phoenix for a day on my way out there, so the checked bag fees are going to be outrageous. Bleh. -

Re: Is anybody driving to BM with room for a cooler?
Tue, August 12, 2008 - 3:13 PMIt was fairly cheap, like maybe $30 or less? I don't remember exactly, but we shipped our cooler with a camp stove and some other camping supplies which we did not want to fly with. The box was about 2'x2'x1' or so (a guess) and was not super heavy. I'd put everything in a box, weigh it and measure it, then call and get prices.
