Hello,
Since there will be bellydancing and dance workshops, I thought I would mention this:
www.renaissance.celebrationfairs.com/
I am not sure of the details of the dance classes.... BUT:
I am teaching an intro to the Arabic tablah class again on the first day of this fair. I will have 7 loaner drums for those without dumbeks. I will be teaching how to hold the drum and the main keystrokes (I play with the drum on the side, so if anyone plays between their legs, the first part of the workshop may not be very helpful). Then I will be teaching 10 of the most common beats.
Anyway, it is only three bucks to get in, so it is defiantly worth checking out if you are in Mid West City and there is a lot more than these two things (I just mentioned those because they are relevant to this tribe).
