Welcome to the Dustin Decker tribe - who's gonna be the first victim?

Yeah so - I went home over lunch, fired up the toys, and in a scant 10 mintues, this is what came out.
A noisy little song 2:14 in length, all errors included, rough, with no edits.

I'll clean it up with appropriate fades at some point - but do tell, how is it so far?

such a tease....I'm listening, totally getting into the tune, then it stops. I'm just like 'oohh, not now...I want more!!!' So I had to put it on repeat :D

Hehe... so like life... building and building and...
            What, you mean that's it?!?

But seriously - this is a piece I've been futzing with for quite a while. This is what it sounded like back in April of this year:
            www.dustindecker.com/music/m...xLDN.mp3 (first run)
www.icompositions.com/music/song.php (my favorite of the two)

Anyway - as you can all see, most of my music is still evolving; a work in progress. I'm totally sold on the drums on MixLDN7 at this point, and will be spending some serious time massaging this into something closer to four minutes, with like a bridge, chorus, solo and all that jazz. I think about 16 bars in, I'll bring it down - move into a snare rimshot sorta thing with and then _slowly_ build up to the intensity it begins with, only to punch into a hot solo, after which I'll probably do a "wall of sound" multi-tracking (let's say 8 guitars spread across the stereo spectrum) to punch it up.

I love the new song. Thanks for inviting me to be a part of this tribe. I quickly added it to my myspace so others can enjoy your talent. I hope we can all soon enjoy your stuff. You are an amazing talent. I find your music quite peaceful sometimes.........
