Tue, May 6, 2008 - 1:11 PMPut me on a hiking trail anywhere in Idaho, Montana or Wyoming that is surrounded by trees and that is my favorite. Some of my favorite memories are from the forest service land adjacent to Alpine, Wyoming. I spent countless hours hiking, day dreaming, and reading under those log pole pines. There was just something about those towering giants swaying gently in the breeze. I really miss that place. -

Tue, May 6, 2008 - 4:41 PMI really don't like mountains or forests. I like rolling hills, oaks and meadows. My faves for all of those are in Sonoma County, CA -- huge valley oaks. Some are in Mendocino County too.

Wed, May 7, 2008 - 5:17 PMMy favorite mountains are the Rockies in Colorado. We when there when I was a kid. I love the pine forests there. They bring back so many good memories of when I was a child.
