A Two Part Project

The first part of this project takes place in January 2007 (this is a change from the original plan) in the evening at Spartacus Books in Vancouver, BC. This event will emphasize the importance of unification and collaboration between the many sub-communities of our gendered and ungendered sexualities, in order to promote a stronger community as a whole. This will be achieved through a night utilizing visual displays as well as performance art such as spoken word, song, dance, and movement pieces etc. There is a very real possibility of this performance repeating at different spaces and times afterwards.

Secondly, I will be putting together a 'zine featuring the contributions of artists involved in our live performance, with new material also very welcome. I'm looking for those of you out there that have something to say about gender and sexual orientation in our society, the way it defines us and works to segregate and unify. This will be published by April 2007.
