Hallo, all...after eating out and having a lovely reaction to eating guacamole even *after* picking out the onions, I was wondering if anyone knew whether any enzymes helped with allium intolerance. Lactase is to lactose as ??? is to alliinases?

I'm testing to see whether taking just a generic probiotic will help...time will tell. If anyone has insight into this, do tell!

how did you go with the generic probiotic? I've tried that too, it didnt work for me, but as I posted in this thread >I can eat onions again! Cured?< ( so I won't repeat it all here) I have since done some more reading and there seem to be some other things you can do to help the rebalancing of your gut microbiology - unhelpfully though they seem to be completely contradictory.

So i too am looking ofr any success stories with pro biotics...
