Uh...
The films were all pretty good this week...nothing completely stellar, but all sweet and amusing little stories. I felt like they were fairly even too...hard to say who's safe and who's not.
One thing that I'm sure we've all realized is that the results of this show are not going to revolutionize Hollywood. More geeky upper middle class white guys working in Hollywood? Say it ain't so! Haha! It was interesting to have women and people of color and colorful people in the mix to start, but the Top 6 results are a strong reminder that there is a formula that works in Hollywood, and it's not about to change anytime soon.
But, ya know...mostly, I just love movies...shorts...longs...comedies...adventures...thrillers...kookies...so, for me, just keep making movies, and I won't complain...not too much anyway~

I am very fortunate to live in a town with an amazing movie theater. (My son works there) - I am a member of the California Film Institute and I get to go to member screens and the theater shows movies from all over the world that are not played at commercial theaters. I wish everyone had a movie theater like this one in their town.
I do like the idea that the powers that be are trying new things with shows like this one and Project Greenlight to get fresh, new blood. Even if it is quite "white".
