With the success of our kickoff party last month, we are proud to present to you on Saturday March 15th 2008, RESONANCE v.2.

This month we are featuring Ghreg on Earth and Audiovoid. We are also switching things up and putting the trance outside and the breaks inside. Thank you to everyone who came out to the last gathering and helped to make this happen. Resonance is a regular psy gathering in the bay area that is focused to strengthen and empower our community. Ooze System will be doing decor for the upcoming Vibrasphere show on Sept 15th. Check out www.vibrasphere-sf.com for more info on that.

We will also be heading up to Bend, OR on Sept 21st for a house burning party. That's right, they are burning down a 2 story house. Big stages, and amazing music. We will be playing music out of the 2nd story of this house on Friday, and it burns on Saturday.

Wow, this tribe has been seriously neglected...

Well that's what happens to the Ooze System during the winter time I guess. It's not that nothing is going on, but I guess it's just that (not speaking for everyone) but I don't really feel that unltimate spark from the universe, until it starts to warm up, and I really start to get excited about doing what we do best. And that is taking our silly asses out into the forest, pumping oozing beats out through the trees, and exploring each other and our lives under a beautiful starry sky.

So yeah, I'm definitely getting excited. It feels like summer has officially begun, and I just wanted to post some updates on what is in store this year.

We've been keeping it kinda hush hush so far, but the Intergalactic Showdown will return this year. If you are not familiar, this event takes place in the saloon of an abandoned ghost town built in the 1800's. And if that doesn't get you oozing your shorts, than you wouldn't believe what it is like when you are actually there.

This year's event will be smaller than the previous ones. And that's fine with us. Tickets are limited to a perfectly intimate 100 people.

Taurus Day Party 4/22 Venue change

So due to the impending rain, we've been forced to move our little Taurus bash indoors. Mighty (119 Utah) has been nice enough to let us host it at their venue and we'll be setting up a bunch of tents outside and continuing on with our little BBQ. So if you have any meats, or anything you want bbq'd up, you should definetely bring 'em, as well as condiments or whatever else. Music will be going inside from 3pm-8pm and the bar will be open for your drinking pleasure. And yes, we're still doing it FREE!!!!!

Matt has been putting the smiles on crowds with his track selection and has the skills to keep you grooving.
The party these three guys recently played at in Sacramento was a huge success.

Triton and Sparkle are residents of Alchemy and will get the antigravity generator started. From the playa to various clubs and parties, these two have kept floors grooving for a while.

Ooze System and friends @ Sacramento Decompression -- Saturday, Oct. 7th

Ooze System and friends will be infiltrating Sacramento Decompression with intentions of dropping some heavy bass and spreading mischief in an unexpected manner.

Here is the info:

2pm - Sun up.

It's that time once again to reconnect with our Playa friends and all those that just would like to see why we're having so much fun doing these crazy fun events. If you've wanted to see what Burning Man is like and the great people that are a part of it this, then is the place to be.

Wear your best Playa Wear. We like the creativity you bring. But don't worry we won't run you off if you don't.

The cost is only $5. Where else can you get this much fun on a Saturday night for this little? Additional donations are always accepted for our other costs and to make future events even better.

We've had to move the event to another location other than Horse Cow Gallery this year. It's in Herald, south of Elk Grove. But don't let that stop you because this year were going to extra effort to make it worth your energy to make it out.

Bring your Playa toys, Art Cars, Burn Barrels and Art installations. Bring some of the things that were at your camps at Burning Man this year that you used to make them unique. There's plenty of room to camp, so bring your tents or RV's and camp with us. The event starts Saturday afternoon and will continue through the night until you run down.

We have a full lineup of great DJs well known all over the north state. So come ready to shake some booty!

Directions:

Take Hwy 99 South (or I-5) from Elk Grove,
exit at Hwy 104 which is Twin Cities Rd, go east approx. 8miles and where Twin Cities Road makes a curve to the left (marked 45 mph) just before the Rancho Seco cooling towers, go straight! Don't make the turn!
This is Clay East. Go to the top of the hill and turn right onto Kirkwood.
Follow Kirkwood to the end where it makes a right turn (15 mph) and becomes Montfort. Approx. 0.6 miles on the right side, look for 13585 and turn right through the green gate.
Follow the driveway past the shop building on the left and the party is there!

This week we have a guest that's very dear to our hearts, and who has been a figure in the psytrance scene in San Francisco since its beginning days. One of the most honest and professional promoters here, working with him is a delight. Oh, and he's also one of the best DJs in the Bay Area, having been spinning for over 10 years. Then, I leave for Hawaii on Feb. 20th to visit the missing 1/3 of Ooze System, aka Zapper.

Yup it's official. Plane tickets in hand and everything. Looking forward to it. Will be chillin' on the big i for a little over a week, and then I fly directly back to Phoenix for a Show on March 3rd.
I should be in Arizona for about a week, and would love to play out as much as possible while I am there.

Looking forward to doing some travelling for sure. It has been a while since I have been able to have this opportunity. Super stoked on life right now. Hope everyone is doing great :)
