I know that this tribe is highly unlikely to rival the membership of the original Quantum Physics tribe. But it would still be nice to have enough people to have multi-sided discussions. I would appreciate any initiative to get more members in this forum. I am sending out listings and invitations to all I can.
Thanks,
Kevin

Re: Let's increase membership!
Sat, August 13, 2005 - 9:23 PMI haven't even checked out the other tribe yet. But I appreciate an open minded discussion on subjects such as these. Thank you for the invite to what seems like a great place to grow a great discussion Kevin.
My interest in QM has always been rather firmly rooted in the layman's chair, (I'm fairly educated, but not formally in this area) and of the fascinated sort. I also tend to think that established codifications of processes tend to be "crystalized" in institutions of learning all to early. (I like to question "why we do it this way" a lot...)
So, from this vantage point, I don't have the technical background to take place in the current question poised here in another thread. (Concerning the weak force, bosons and a mass transfer process I believe.) I hope to contribute where I can however, as things grow.
Being an open forum. I'd love to see if anyone here has technical knowledge on some of the modern theories that are "supersets" of QM... (Such as "autodynamics" ?) I've always been curious to discuss these "superset systems" (my own term, meaning they try to integrate but not discount things like QM) with someone who has the true technical knowledge, and an open mind concerning established academic interpretations.
