I wish I wasnt stuck in yankville usa ...at least people here are waking up to the progressive and realizing it's the most inteligent music on the planet : ) for years all we had was forest fullon parties but the last few years our crew started closing off the day with prog and it got a huge response. Now I'll be playing along side vibrasphere on the 14th of september and already got booked for a party with antix in november. I'm so happy to have a progressive party rather than listening to 144bpm till my ears fall off.
at least I'm lucky enough to be born in the one state (in the US) that has a real (well 800-1500 people parties on a good day)trance scene .. california : )
when is the next open release? slow release was and still is smoke'n hot : )

cairns has a pretty good reputation as a "prog" town... its great. until recently there wasnt a lot of action in the clubs though, mainly in the outdoor scene... but i guess deep as fu*k is out to change that!
good to see you pushing the scene in the good old US of A... more action neeeded there! really glad you enjoy the release though... there is actually a couple of remixes taken from slow-release on beatport right now (www.beatport.com/open+records) & we have a couple of other digital EPs very close to release as well.
Our next cd titled "Festivus" will be released in late october/early november, just in time for the Australian festival season... we have more from wombat, d-sens, eegor, antix & 2kings in Motion (fog vs v-point) and also some material from some other australian artists as well... more on that soon!
Till then either keep checking the tribe or myspace, i'll drop by your site some time for sure!

Tue, August 28, 2007 - 4:33 AMnice..I think the digital record store is the way of the future. now you can buy the album and have it in a matter of 2 hours give or take...no more waiting by the mail box. One other cool thing are flac files ...you can offer the customer a lossless compressed file which they can be burning to cd even sooner and it also saves money on bandwidth (on the distro end) not to mention all the money you save from not pressing cd's and cover books etc... I care about the music in good quality not the jewel case with a piece of paper and I think most people are thinking like this these days.
