Material suggestions

topic posted Mon, June 25, 2007 - 1:50 PM by  Celestine
I thought it would be cool to start a topic that everyone can use to suggest materials that may not be popular but could be quite beneficial. I will start by mentioning the use of Azurite or Lapis Lazuli which is a type of stone. It has very powerful traits that may help increase the power of your orgonite. Also I would like to mention the use of monoatomic gold when making a pyramid shape, it has profound capabilities that border on the paranormal.

    Hey,
    I'm glad you are interested in Orgonite.
    I have been working with stones for many years now and am pretty adept with using them. azurite is a nice stone. I would recommend that people keep it simple when making Orgonite. It is tempting to put a bunch of different stones in orgonite. This can cause conflicting energy patterns. I recommend that beginners use quartz and one other type of stone, rose quartz, amethyst, garnet etc.

    Also I wold do a little more research on monoatomic gold before recommending using it in orgonite.

    Keep on gifting,

    Matt

    How about a flower of life print?

    Stibnite is a nice crystal I haven't heard being used yet also, and 1" pieces can be found for a few £ from some shops.

    Mercury just popped to mind. Wonder what that would do, make the orgonite super-smart? hehe. Or would the mercury expand and find a way out of the resin when curing, as it can get quite hot?

    Shells are being used for their sacred geometry and resonant/chanelling properties. There must be alot of other things like that. I've often wondered about honeycomb, which is a shape easily derived from the flower of life. I think the bees might like that :-).

    How about making an orgonite pyramid which comes apart so that there is a chamber in it's centre where you can place different stuff?

    Mica flakes are ok to use, and a little goes a long way. They are pretty at the very least.

    Dragon's-blood resin? And then there's stuff like frankinsence, myrrh, copal, etc.

    I suppose it depends what you want to tune the energy to. It's possible to make the energy more earthy, airy, watery, fiery, or to have an affinity with chakras for healing etc , and modify them with additions. But it could end up being a cacophany if not careful? lol

    Resin dyes could be used to make one that looks like a rainbow with different poured layers.

    Local stones have been used to attune a piece to a particular place. Stream pebbles work well for that apparently.

    If it's going into a forest or an orchard, a little wood from one of the trees might be nice. Don't forget to ask nicely and leave a gift :-)

    Mother of pearl for water pieces would be nice, or moonstone.

    Feathers are important cleansing tools to Native Americans and others. Collected with love and not bought at a craft shop etc, I imagine, would be best. Would look very pretty also :-)

    Some types of sand are full of wonderful natural shapes and tiny crystals/shells etc, if you're lucky enough to live by a beach with a nice sand. Sand art could be incorporated into a piece. I think beauty is an important factor for a piece in a persons home, as the energy it engenders in the onlooker adds to the vibrations of the piece.

    Bach flower remedies?
    Would letting a piece cure at the base of a tree instill the vibrational qualities of the tree in it?
    Or flowers of different types?

    How about a double pyramid with a rose quartz at it's centre, or a roze quartz within a rose flower, or flower of life pattern around it.
    Roses and love go together well symbolically, and that's the whole point of gifting, I think. putting love back into the earth.

    Animal totem items could be added if desired. Things found or given by nature. Maybe if asked, things will just come to you on a walk through the woods. Whatever the place offers for incorporation into a piece. :-) Even fungi are important energetically, though sometimes overlooked, and would make a fascinating addition. Might be difficult though. Unless you know someone who can freeze dry it for you without great expence, or free, lol. A freeze-dried fly-agaric would look great in a piece I think, if picking them isn't illegal, lol.

    ....ciggy time, bbl

      Oh, forgot to say, I agree that these are simply additions/modifiers, and not necessary to make a simply perfect piece. And 'less is more' is a good rule.

        Effective Microorganisms (EM) Ceramics could be incorporated and add their vibrational energies to a piece of orgonite.

        Wool, used in early accumulators can be added or used to decorate the surface for solely artistic purposes.

        Patterned egg-shell together with feathers (peacock feathers are pretty) would make an interesting looking piece, or even a bleached bird skull if your taste leans toward the gothic macabre. It has been mentioned that skulls are a wonderfully resonant cavity, and natural shape. Covering it in gold leaf would be 'nice'. A couple of tiger-eye beads for eyes?. . A fascinating art-project .....

        A coating of garlic salt or a few cloves in the compass directions to ward off vampires? jk

        Any metallic wrappers on sweets etc like easter egg foil can be saved and cut up to add as the metal ingredient, and is just like adding aluminium foil.
        Plastic sweet wrappers can even be used as a way to add colour to pieces, although some of them might react with the resin. Quality Street wrappers don't react with polyurethane resin I used, but don't bind to it either, but it's a fun experiment.

        Beads from crystal bracelets are cheaper than buying single pieces of crystal if you can't get wholesale prices or a good supplier, and you want small pieces to include in a piece.

        Buying a lump of crystal points grouped together in a piece of their original layer/bed can be cheaper than buying separate pieces, and just have to be prised apart with a chisel or some other suitable tool.

        Rummage/boot/garden sales sometimes have things like crystal eggs or other crystals/stones if you are lucky, that can be bought for 'peanuts' if the seller hasn't a clue of their value. A crystal egg would be a cool central crystal in a decorative piece if some of the resin is left clear. Just smudge/cleanse secondhand pieces first, and dedicate them to the Light or whatever you do.

        As wool can be used, why not other spare fur or hair of different animals. Platted horse hair would be interesting, if you have someone who owns horses and just had them groomed. Horse-orgonite, lol. Just throwing some odd ideas about and seeing what comes of them. :-)

        Hemp cord could be used to make a type of dream-catcher shape that could be imbedded in a piece, or other knotwork designs. Each knot could be made with intent of the purpose of the peace (cleansing/healing etc) and infuse the piece with a particular Hado (refer to Masaru Emoto)

        Charged water has been used by some who like the energy quality it adds.
        A small resin container of water might be added into a piece, with appropriate words/symbols/images written around it, or stuck on as paper/print, to impart a particular hado, as Emoto describes works in his books, though he uses a glass jar. Glass would break/crack as the resin shrinks though. Anyway, it's an avenue of experimentation.

          Fuchsite seems like a good mineral to include in orgonite and is said to help with the transfer of energy from other minerals, amplifying their energy and speeding up the healing process by promoting an increase in energy transfer. It is a form of mica of green colour due to the presence of chromium. Nice and sparkly too :-)
          (astrological sign - Aquarius. Vibrates to number 9)

          Generator Quartz crystal point: (natural or cut&polished):
          energy magnification and generation;
          supplanting voids/negative energies with radiant white light;
          acts to dissipate disturbances & disorganised energy with stability;
          facilitates energy connections;
          Configuration of six crystal faces joining together to form the terminated apex.
          Frequently used in wands.

          Peacock Ore (Bornite) is a pretty colourful healing stone which would look great in a transparent layer of orgonite, and is said to have properties of aligning energies and transmuting negative into positive as it circulates the energy. Protective in regard to negative energy bombardment. Joyful energy.
          Not sure what resin would do to the colours. Not expensive.

          Titanium dioxide (white pigment used in paints/ceramic glazes) can be used to give resin an opaque bright-white tint if desired. A bit expensive but a little goes a long way. Other dry paint pigments are useful for tinting resin too, but don't have the translucency I would expect from special transparent resin tinting additives. Haven't tried those yet but can't wait to.
