I went ahead and ordered enough material yesterday to make 15 veils so I can at least get started on them. I can get more if needed.

Here are the notes on the choreography so far in case you want a peek at what we learned this week. Thanks to Kim and Erah for filling in the notes for the middle row!

Feno choreography

Stand facing back; arms straight (downward V)
Hold for 8 counts
Shimmy for 8 counts
Shimmy for another 7 counts with snake arms (R,L,R,L) looking towards moving arm
On count 8, cross the right leg over to turn to the front
Shimmy for 8 counts
Shimmy for another 8 counts with snake arms (R,L,R,L) looking towards moving arm

Throw veil to back; arms in second
2 basic Egyptians traveling forward (step forward on R); arms come up overhead (palms out)
2 basic Egyptians in place
2 basic Egyptians traveling backwards; arms come down to second (palms down)
2 basic Egyptians in place

3 typewriter steps right with left arm up and right arm out (looking right)
On count 4, shoulders R, L
3 typewriter steps left with right arm up and left arm out (looking left)
On count 4, shoulders R, L

4 ball changes (starting with R foot) sweeping veil to front and back w/straight arms

Hold 4 counts in R bevel; arms up in V (showgirl hands)
3 point turn to right; end in ¾ profile with arms up (palms out)
2 undulations
3-point turn to left; end facing front with arms up (palms out)

Walk on right diagonal for 3 steps (R,L,R)
On count 4, flip veil up (butterfly?)
Walk back for 3 steps (L, R, L)
On count 4, face forward and throw veil back down
Repeat to front and back on left diagonal

4 ¾ shimmies in circle with arms above head (palms out)
¾ shimmy to front (start on R)
¾ shimmy to right (start on L)
¾ shimmy to back (start on R)
¾ shimmy to left (start on L)

4 veil swoops starting with the right arm (R, L, R, L)
Weight is on leg opposite the “swooping” arm

Arms come down for 4 counts
Maya for 8 counts (L, R. L, R) while doing the “bunch & shove” 
“Lunge” left with right foot in arabesque; snake arms L, R, L, hold

Turn to back (arms in second) and hold (2 counts total)
Two hips to the right peeking at audience over left shoulder
Two hips to the left peeking at audience over right shoulder
Two hips to the right peeking at audience over left shoulder

Still facing back, chasse to the left
Right foot goes back into ball change while arms push out in front (hands slide together at thumbs)
Repeat to right, ending in left profile with left foot beveled

3-point turn towards front of stage, ending with arms wrapped around torso
3-point turn back, ending with hands crossed in front of chest

2 forward figure 8’s with arms (R, L)
Take a little dip at the end before making a pretty little turn with arms coming up behind head

Shimmy for ??? (8 counts, I think) with arms coming down in front (palms up)

Front row: Chasse with arms (starting with right foot) offstage to the right
Back row: The opposite, I think
Middle row:

Chasse in place for 8 (4 sets) R, L, R, L with arms
2 Hip-dip to the R or Egyptian side walk with
(R arm in a / position, Left hand on the R cheek palm out)R & L
Left arm down to the 2nd position, not sure if this is more to the front or side, with semi twist hip to the front, back, front, back
Repeat Hip-drop to the Left (L arm up \, R hand on the L cheek palm out,) L & R
R arm down to the 2nd position with semi twist hip back, front, back, front

Forward figure eight R & L with the arm
Backward figure eight R, L then 3 point turn with the arm
Backward figure eight L, R then 3 point turn with the arm
Back to center- Chasse to exit
