I believe that 1908 will mark the centenary of the arrival of the first Orthodox priest in Gauteng, Fr Nikodemos Sarikas.
I have suggested to His Eminence Metropolitan Seraphim that we find some way of commemorating the centenary, but also wonder if we could begin collecting historical material about Fr Nicodemos.
