Re: OSP @ The Yankee Dec 2nd
Mon, November 28, 2005 - 2:16 PMCan I plug my own band here? It somehow makes me feel dirty. (Or, as the french say, dier-tay.) I'll do it anyway....
Man our set is gonna smoke!!! Then again, we never really stick to our setlists... Either way, expect a sit-in or two from at least one of the somethingfour fellas....
Plus, it's a Yankeeee show... madness will ensue... confusion and panic will run rampant in the streets... people will lose their sanity... cats and dogs and cats and bunnies living together.
I should stop writing. -

Re: OSP @ The Yankee Dec 2nd
Sat, December 3, 2005 - 12:14 PMWhat a great night. S4 put on a great set for us, with Ryan sitting in on Keys in their last tune. Then we had Barry and Chris of S4 sitting in with OSP on "Funky Bitch" and "Ice Cream". At the end of "Cian Ago" Sam Flot read a poem...we were listening to the recording last night and I thought that Sam's jam was one of the best parts of the show, when the band explored some distant musical spaces.
We did alright considering all of the other fun events happening elsewhere that night. We had 25 people paid at the door plus the night started a bit late with a fully-seated house. There were also a few people who made it out after the Trey show, showing up after 1am. Thanks to everyone for sharing the evening with us!
