I'm currently reading David Bellos' biography of Georges Perec ("Georges Perec: A Life in Words") & finding it extremely well researched & written in a multi-threaded way that makes it almost like a Perecian puzzle in itself. The author keeps making references to Perec's english/french neologisms without actually calling them out. Anyone know where a list of these might be or be able to pull of few of them out of the dark recesses of memory.

Sat, July 29, 2006 - 11:46 AMI have that book, but I've yet to tackle it. Offhand I can't think of any examples, but I'll take a look at the Perec works I have and see if any jump out at me. -

Sun, July 30, 2006 - 7:52 PMIts a monster of a book, more than 800 pages, I can't image reading the whole thing, but the chapters I've read so far make me want to read more.
I'm not so sure that it's possible in present day time-space to actually set aside the time it requires to read a book like that from cover to cover. These days I kinda nibble on books over a period of a couple months & sometimes I even manage to finish one. -

Sun, July 30, 2006 - 9:34 PMI've come up empty thus far. Can you give a couple page references where the neologisms are discussed so I can see the context?
