Re: Welcome
Tue, March 11, 2008 - 7:58 AMAgain, I wish to thank those friends whom sent in private words of support.
I ask people not to take sides about my banishment out of Nomenus,
as I am able to stand alone and deal with those who do rally well-meaning faeries,
fed with some VUL (Vaughn Urban Legend.) all 9/11 style,
to grab the torches and pitchforks,
and play Wolf Creek "Radical" Faerie Sanctuary Survivor.
Rula openly writes of his hate about me regularly in the published Nomenus minutes,
which go into library archives.
So, I am archiving my side of the story,
as I'm blocked from responding to the Nomenus membership
by overt and subvert manipulation
by Rula and Iz.
In Rula writing of his hate, Rula encourages others to act the same.
Iz prefers to work behind things a bit.
Terrible behavior for any Church member.
The point of this tribe, and it's sister sites,
is not about building up membership,
but just to shine a little light upon a patch of darkness in my life.
When people loose heart of subject/subject consciousness,
and act out of that old reptile relation or subject/ objectifications,
this leads to witch hunts,
which when worked out of a Church,
can be damning. -

Re: Welcome
Tue, March 11, 2008 - 8:04 AMSubject-Subject Consciousness
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
Jump to: navigation, search
Subject-SUBJECT consciousness, a concept proposed by Harry Hay believed by Hay to be queer people's unique perspective on the world. Hay saw heterosexual society existing in a subject-object dynamic; where men, who had the culturally acceptable power, saw only themselves as subject and therefore higher than women, who were treated as objects and property. Hay extrapolated this interpersonal-sexual dynamic (male-power:female-subordinate) into a broader social context, believing that the subject-object relationship was the driving force behind most all of societies ills. Objectification served as a barrier, emotionally separating an individual (subject) from another individual by dehumanizing them, making them object.
When Hay looked at homosexual relationships, however, he saw a different dynamic at work. He believed that homosexual relationships were based on mutual respect and empathy for the other, a longing for a companion who was as equally valuable as the self. Hay termed this interpersonal-sexual dynamic subject-SUBJECT (which Hay capitalized for emphasis in all of his writings). He believed that this subject-SUBJECT way of viewing the world was queer people's most valuable contribution to the greater society. By empathizing with all people, relating to each other as equal to equal, society would change drastically and social injustices would be eradicated.

Subject-Subject Idealism
Tue, March 11, 2008 - 10:08 AMHarry, the Duchess. bless his heart, was nothing if not an idealist. One has
only to pick up anything from the gay subculture to see (full disclosure, yesterday I spent 10
minutes looking at undergear ads
for perfect bodies in Genre that I get for
free as they are selling my eyeballs to advertisers)
how shamelessly male bodies are objectified and
merchandised, and that goes on at faery gatherings, too, since "you're soaking in it"
(as Madge the manicurist in the Palmolive commercial would say) and certain types
of bodies get a lot more attentions, action, and and dare I say, love.
