I and Paul want to let everyone know - who didn't already hear us say it last night before we drove home (actually very early this morning :) - what a super event this was. I thought Xeric Nation was great (for those who haven't seen the page at MoreLife.org that included my write-up about it - morelife.org/personal/ph...otos_62.html ), but HCD2 surpassed it. The visuals, music, general layout, the people and those porta-johns (well what can I say about that luxury in the desert) came together for a fantastic night. Hope the rest of the weekend was as good for everyone else who camped.

My throat is still sore from talking so much - more than all I did with others in the 6 months in rural Ontario :) It was great to visit with old friends and maybe acquire a few more. But those talk (and photo taking) breaks gave my legs a rest from dancing, of which I did plenty because the music was so good. (Spyder's higher energy was tops!) And everyone seemed to be having as good a time as we had. Loved the hula hoops and the fact that so many tried them out - I hadn't used one in over 50 years but maybe I'll try to find one for myself and get as good as Ashley and Rae.

I'll upload photos of the event to my tribe page in the next day or 2 - I think I got some good ones. And I'm looking forward to seeing Mitch's too. (I'm on the lookout for an inexpensive tripod so I can get those super 4 second exposures...)
