    great mix man, nice to hear you expanding with ableton. I know you will take it beyond mixing too, hopefully we can hear some nick synergy original productions soon. just don't get lazy and take computer mixing to the autopiloting extreme that i do. it's fun to dance and mix though :)

      Heh, well, there's something to be said for automation (including what you've stated here). It seemed to limit spontenaeity a bit, but with Ableton you can be as on-the fly as you like once you have all your tracks properly warped.

    I KNEW I heard some Trentemoeller in there!! This mix was great man! I listened to it on the plane ride home. Some seriously good tunes...wait...I think I was told to tell you how much it SUCKED, right?

      Although, Matty told me it was amazing, and he knows a little bit about music, so I guess it's better than happy hardcore.

      The funny part is that the promoter of this weekend's rave fiasco emailed me to state that he's not mad, just confused by something. "If you think my parties are such crap, why did you give me a mix?"

      I informed him that it wouldn't have been crap if properly executed, that I wouldn't have gone if I thought his partieS were crap, and that any joker can make a demo mix, but that I don't bother unless I can create a listening experience. I told him that I gave him the mix for his birthday, which is in the same spirit of my having made and finished it right before Christmas ('specially since I'm poor). If I'd been being paid hourly for my work on that, I might have purchased many gifts. Oh well. :)
