Ozark Avalon, a Wiccan Church in rural Cooper County, 16 miles from the Stadium Road (Columbia)exit of I-70 160 acres seeks additional persons to live with us and help with the upkeep of the retreat center and land.. We are a small collective of persons who are looking for one or more persons to join our ranks. We are open to women and men, couples and singles, gays and straights but do not have facilities for families with children under 14. The person(s) should be able to donate $225 a month to cover living expenses of room, utilities, some food, telephone including long distance, limited internet assess and can expect to work around 5 hours a week. Private room with limited storage space- in a mobile home unless you are a couple who can deal with wood heat in the retreat center. Volunteer coordination, computer talents, building, facility maintenance and general upkeep are important to us as is ability to work with and interact with a variety persons. We have a campground, Wheel of the Year Retreats, Full Moons, and Classes. . You must have reliable transportation if you need to work outside the retreat.
