This would be funny (in a dark way) if I wasn't married to it.

Spouse has a habit of starting projects and never finishing them so there many years of debris that I sporadically liquidate at a loss… included in this are 42 'project cars' in his yard. In addition to the background noise we have made some poor financial decisions -workable with care and a little luck -as my house is for sale to pay everything off.

I'm really working hard to tighten all expenses- property tax and homeowner insurance due are going on my credit card….. so what does he do.

A buddy is selling his truck- so he buys it. It's not a running truck because that would make sense to actually have a vehicle that can reliably get to work etc.. no - it's yet another 'project car'...
