This is a place for Pagans who love Bluegrass, Old Time & Appalachian music. Bluegrass, Old Time & Appalachian music has its roots in the Folk music of Ireland, Britain & Scotland and that music has its roots in the Bardic tradition. Seems only right that Pagans reclaim Bluegrass, Old Time & Appalachian music as their folk music. Bards told stories, Bluegrass, Old Time & Appalachian music tells stories. So if you love Bluegrass, Old Time & Appalachian music, & write Pagan poetry & songs, then lets merge them. Lets sing of our mountains & forest, lets sing of the Lil' Folks who migrated here, lets sing of our spiritual kinship to the Natives of this land. Tired of New Agey pagan music? I know I am. Tired of American Pagans trying to sing Celtic? Bluegrass, Old Time & Appalachian music is Celtic so lets create our own American Pagan Music. So lets pick up our Mandolins, Banjos, Guitars, Mountain Dulcimers & Fiddles & sing our praise to the Old Ways!
