Good question! I am very interested in the gods and goddesses of every culture. So, I have at least one likeness in every room of my home.

My bedroom is blessed by Diana of Ephesus: "The Lady of the "Beasts." And also by Alex Grey's "Sophia" who looks very much like Diana.

My Office is a shrine to Bast and The Morrigan, who surprising co-exist quite harmoniously. (Altho... the kittens who live in there have at times taken to playing with Morrigan's hair. Now she is partly bald.... but doesn't seem to mind. )

Our living room is a celebration of Krishna and Radhe, Shiva and Shakti, and Ganesha.

My kitchen is dedicated to La Befana.

And, in the back yard is the Zen Dawg garden. (Not exactly a god, but a whimsical representation of a meditating dog who clearly leans Buddhist.)

I am now working on my bird sactuary..... within which will be a faery garden. I once had a faery garden there.... but sometimes so many dogs scare them away. Now I have fenced in that garden again.... to allow the fae to reclaim it.

I should probably mention that, not far from where I live, I often commune with spirits of the land. Many shrines near my home in Ohio still sing with the spirts of Tecumseh and Crazy Horse. I once met White Buffalo Calf Pipe Woman on an early morning walk in a misty woods.

In my purse I carry, always, a small altar to Tara, and a beautiful teal blue mala with which to chant to her for healing.

For me, the world is truly alive with unseen presences! I have many "friends" from the other realms. Looking back I can see that .... part of what made last fall (when Jason died) difficult... was that I was away from my gods and goddesses, here in Boston. I was lonely without them. That was, in fact, when I bought the Tara altar and mala..... to have with me always.

Tho I often think of relocating after retirement, I would have to give deep thought to how such a relocation might affect my inner pantheon. I am sure some of my spirit friends would travel quite well and take up residence in a different part of the country.... while others may not.

    Amma
