Musky Goat with swollen member
Help our bodies to remember
Ecstasy with panic wild
Horned Lover, Black Heart Child
This invocation chant was inspired during a workshop at the Turning the Tide Festival in Miami, FL at the beginning of Dec. The workshop was about chants for invoking the gods and how to write them. The facilitator of the workshop was my good friend, and a right fine example of the virile Horned Lord. I wrote the above chant to Pan, while thinking of my friend. :)
These words are mine, I leave it to you to be honorable. You may certainly use them and copy them, just credit me for writing them.
That is assuming you like it. :)

Re: Hail Pan!
Sun, January 4, 2009 - 5:43 PMI love that.
"Ecstasy with panic wild"
Two books that woke me up to notice Pan were
Ecstasy, by Robert Johnson
and
Jitterbug Perfume, by Tom Robins
In Jitterbug Perfume, there's a wonderful explanation of why the old gods disappear: we stop believing in them. In the book you noticed the goat smell first.
Let's hope he becomes more and more visible as we pay very close attention. I think your invocation made him just a little easier to see. Thanks.
