Thought it would amuse ...
My fillings act like an EMF detector. If I get near something emitting an electrical field they light up like I've just put a 9 volt battery in my mouth.
This comes in handy but gives me headaches.

Re: I have a funny to share ...
Tue, December 18, 2007 - 10:13 AMOMG, that's too funny. Can you get music like Lucille Ball too? (kidding). 'Hey I think there's a presence here I taste copper and I just recharged my cell phone by holding it.' ;-) hehe.
Headaches do suck though, it might be worth it for you to get the newer style fillings that are non-metal- plus they look like ordinary tooth bone now- I just had one replace not too long ago and I was really shocked at how the tech has changed with that. -

Re: I have a funny to share ...
Tue, December 18, 2007 - 8:30 PMYeah I keep meaning to. I'm always so put off how much dentistry costs - even though I have dental.
Sometimes it'd be easier to just take the teeth out...
It's interesting though. I feel something and there it goes, the EMF detector goes off too.

Re: I have a funny to share ...
Mon, December 31, 2007 - 1:04 PMCompletely unrelated to ghosts, but after you had your fillings replaced, did you have tenderness or sensation there for a long time? My replacements are around a month old if not older and for at least two weeks it wasn't comfortable to chew on that side... I have 3 more to replace and I'm not looking forward to it :( -

Re: I have a funny to share ...
Tue, January 1, 2008 - 3:43 PMYeah I ran it in the background as I was sewing.
YOu were talking about the mobile home one right? And WTF was up with that cow on the couch. I'm so glad they got her to leave. That show kills me almost as much as Most Haunted. -

Re: I have a funny to share ...
Thu, January 3, 2008 - 3:49 PMOH yeah, the counselor and Ryan had some interesting commentary about her during the 'psychological disorders' talk. She kept that household in a semi-permanent state of hysteria- she was just like some creepy vampire sucking up the drama and fear she was instilling in this house. Also the whole cross inversion incident- they had all gone out to dinner except for the husband- he was home. The PSU team pretty much assumed that it was him who did it, but none of that showed on the airing. Once the family cleaned up that sty and got rid of the cow (sticking with the farm analogies!). The fear and depression generally lifted and life got better for them. There was also an issue of severe depression (the slovenliness is a prime indicator) due to loss of employment- which also changed once they took action. It was that sense of helplessness and the very human monster feeding into the drama that caused the whole problem.
Interestingly, exorcisms can be very efficacious for it's theraputic effects ;-) -

This is the maximum depth. Additional responses will not be threaded.

Thu, January 3, 2008 - 5:44 PMSometimes an exorcism is as easy as giving an irritating family member or friend a cab ride back to their own hovel. ;) -
