We realize it's a short window (only 15 minutes) but it takes a really long time for all the adults to flash us their buns and dogs, so the event is still primarily an adult event. But we love the kids at PDF and wanted to show them... so come at Noon!

BUNS & DOGS EXCHANGE
Camp Sexy is back with our Buns and Dogs Exchange - you show us yours, we'll show you ours! Whip out your dog, flash your buns and we'll serve you the best pork hotdog ever. Vegetarian? We also exchange melons for melons and bush for bush! NEW THIS YEAR: Starting promptly at NOON we’ll kick off the B&D with a Kid-friendly exchange! For the first 15 mins kids can show us their best dog impression and wiggle their butts for a dog of their own. NOTE: Nudity and debauchery begin promptly at 12:15.

OK, so there is a chance that I may have to bring my 6 year old along with me to PDF or not go at all. Can anyone advise/share experiences about bringing kids along? How many people do bring their kids? I would really hate to have to miss it but I just don’t know if the environment is really conducive to bringing a young child who hasn't had too much experience with this type of thing. She has been to a couple of parties where my friends were buring and breating fire and she loves it, but this is so much more than that. Any thoughts or suggestions are greatly appreciated.

Thanks!

Returning again this spring is the Stuffed Animal Adoption Agency. Our success stories are many, as multiple burners had stepped up to the plate last spring and became loving parents to various horses, bears, fruit, and whatever else we had lying around--I mean, lonely pets in need of companionship. Come by the helicopter where we'll be set up, and you can review our achievements, see photos of the new happy families, and even find a stuffed friend of your own.

Several photos of successful adoptions have been uploaded to the PDF tribe, so take a gander. Note that only half of the adopter/adoptee pictures are shown, but all can be seen in our Success Photo Book at PDF. If anyone who is featured wishes to be taken down, please let me know and I'll do so. Thanks to all who'd participated.

Hey gang. My good friends Jeanette and Dave (west coast transplants to the DC area) joined Camp Sexy last fall. Some of you may have met them. They're long time burners, but it was their first regional experience. Well, they had a ball and really love the community and will be returning this spring with their twin 4 years olds... Sydney and Beck. Camp Sexy will be in the Theme Camp area... which we all know is not really conducive to a 4 year old getting much sleep, so they're going to camp in the open camping area.

I've encouraged them to join Tribe and learn from your discussions and experiences. I don't know if they're on here yet... but I wanted to sort of give them a 'pre' introduction. I'm going to send them the link to this tribe, so you may be seeing them here soon.

Also, I'm happy to report, Camp Sexy will be having a little B&D Exchange pre-event just for the kids this spring! We love the kids of PDF and want to share the hot dog fun with them, so be on the lookout for it! We'll give deets here and in the WWW once we work it all out.
My daughter is Corinne, age 9. She only comes to PDF in the fall. She's best known for her trampoline antics with Eba. She likes coming to PDF to play with kids all weekend long, and because, well, it's a giant playground! She's very into making stuff right now, and has discovered that the older she gets, the dumber I get (jeez, already?!).

I'm not sure yet how I'm going to balance this Fall's PDF, between Lotus Lounge in the theme camp area, and kids camp, which should clearly not go in the middle of the very adult theme camp area. I liked our placement in the spring back by the horse barn & we'll probably go there again. I guess I'm going to sleep in the kids camp area (which, alas is noiser since the stage is pointed at it) and hike back and forth between there and the back field...or maybe it's time to get a bike.
