I am looking into the possibility of doing a field trip to the Richfield Bird Sanctuary as a group. in March ? so perhaps meet twice in March or perhaps field trip in April?
it is a large sanctuary. it is a drive through with ample approved sites for observation. get out your birding binoculars it will be fun! we can pack sack lunches and eat them at the birding observation shelter. i love going there... we often see hawks, ducks , loons, egrets, i even saw an eagle once. many different kinds... it was exciting to see them in their natural habitat.maybe i could even arrange for a park ranger come and tell us about the birds & their habitat? What are your thoughts?
Lets Car Pool too! and i believe there might be some parents who are local transit riders needing to hook up with car sharing?
even if we cant get together every month... lets try to get together for the Field Trip & the Ostara Day of Fun and lets think about all going together to Beltane (free Camping ) the 1st weekend in May with ASB (Anarchist Spiritualist Beltane!) I have been going to this event for 13 years or so... WE could host a children's May Pole Dance or a Children's Beltane Activity of some sort with a Pagan Kids Club Banner at a table.... Give it some thought.

Annette/Topaz is part of the Reclaiming Group of PDX and she is Making it fun for our kiddos... i humbly suggest (if at all within your means) to make a small love offering to help cover the costs of hosting this Ostara Day of Fun. No one turned away for the lack of funds...
