whats the best way to go?

I'm newbie and have a few questions. First... i have been looking at all different type's of strap-ons to use on my boyfriend. I have used a ripple anal plug which he liked but liked my fingers/hand better. I'm looking into getting a strap-on and not sure what to look for. He likes width vs. length and I would like to have penetration, but not a necessity. The different types I have been looking at are the “Feeldoe " "Double Delight Strap-On" "Vac-U-Lock Harness and Dong" or "Hollow Strap-On" I would like to get some feedback on what works, does not work, etc. Any and all will be greatly appreciated. Thank you!!

The vaculock harness limits you to only vaculock dildos, which from what i can see are rarely 100% silicone and could be made of toxic materials, or porous so that bacteria can get into them. I would not recommend them. From what I can tell the hollow strapon is rubber, which is also porous and can harbor bacteria. The double delight strapon is made of jelly, which is toxic, porous and probably has a bad odor (all jelly toys do). If you are limited by your budget - you can get these but I would advise using them only with condoms, and realize they will not last very long.

About double-ended dildos like the Share and the Feeldoe…most couples find that these cannot be used without a harness, no matter how sexy that may be to envision. I would like to emphasize that they are on the advanced end of pegging toys for the majority of people. Some couples love them, but most use a harness as well and they are indeed in the minority. The difficulties arise from a) vaginal muscles being no match against the anal sphincter so they are difficult for most women to even keep in, b) the insertion point is the only point of balance as opposed to a nice snug two strap harness which will let you push up down and sideways and c) imagine dealing with all that when you are just learning how to fuck someone else! Not recommended for beginners.

    For more information:

Vixen Creations has a wide variety of dildos in just about any shape, color, width and length you could ask for - all 100% silicone and sterilizable. Tantus has a similar offering.

Thank You I went onto one of the sites you wrote about and I'am leaning towards G curve Dildo w/ Joque harness. Any comment? is there a big difference with harness's or is it play as you go to see what fits the best?

I would say go for a Realdoe. I think you should try the sharing type of strap on first. Can't think of how to explain this, but if you buy a dildo and harness first, you will only wonder what the sharing type felt like. If you buy a sharing type first, you might not wonder what the difference is so much for a while. HE might wonder, but probably only if the length becomes and issue after a while.

Realdoe is wide enough and just long enough without being too long. Plus since it's a share, some of you covers up the actual length of it, which can be good if he doesn't like length. It's long enough to be able to use in a lot of different positions, as we haven't found a problem in any of the ones we've tried yet.

The material is great! It's really smooth, firm, while gentle at the same time. It's heavy, so we always use it with a harness. She likes to be able to maneuver around without worrying so she likes the harness. If you bought a dildo, you would need a harness anyway, so either way you will need one.

I think you should start with the realdoe. I found it cheaper on amazon, but it's better than the feeldoes to me because it's softer, so it's more comfortable for both of us.
