I tweaked my wrist a while back and it got really bad over the weekend but sure enough as soon as I decide I need to see a doctor, it gets better almost overnight. Now I don't think it warrents waiting all day at Primary Care just to have a doctor say either take it easy or than nothings wrong with it.
What's good for a healing joint besides taking glucosamine? Like I said it's not bad enough to see a doctor, but it does inhibit hand floreos.

Re: joints
Mon, October 15, 2007 - 7:13 PMbe very careful with wrists.. There are many small bones. It may be worth spending part of a day at PC just to rule out a fracture.
Besides that, my next point was muscle/tendon strain is worlds different than fracture healing.
Racquet balls make for good squeezing exercises.

Mon, October 15, 2007 - 7:27 PMI don't think it's a fracture because it would hurt a LOT more.

Thu, November 1, 2007 - 8:19 AMGO SEE THE DOCTOR!!!!
I hurt my wrist over a year ago and toughed it out. It would hurt, then go away, then hurt like crazy again whenever I put much stress on it. It turned out I had tendonitis, and now my wrist os royally screwed up for life. I have to be very careful about what I do, and how much of it I do. Now, instead of picking up my poi for a bit fo spinning, I have to stretch, warm up, then spin, then stratch and cool down and ice my wrist. 2 months of physical therapy helped, but it's still a drag. -

Re: joints
Thu, November 1, 2007 - 5:23 PMI understand. My mom actually convinced me to go to the free clinic the following monday, and sure enough by that day it got better.
Even though I don't have problems with it anymore, I still couldn't do massage for over a week and if it happens again I won't hesitate.
