I've been hibernating most of winter and doing computer work, but now summer is coming and more is happening. I got out to shoot my first show this "season", East Meets West, a tribal fusion yearly dance show in Portland

Day-umn! That is some sweet stuff. I'm particularly impressed with how well the fire fans turned out. Might I ask how you were shooting it (ISO, aperture, etc.)? I'm still more miss than hit on my efforts with fire.

      I shoot wide open and I had a 100mm f2.0 and 50mm f1.4
I mainly vary the speed 1/10 - 1/300 depending on the lighting
I shoot mainly 1600 ISO. If the light is good and really stable I might bring it down to 800.

It's totally hit and miss as well for me.
