Howdy all. Do any of you folks have experience with wind power? I am considering a hybrid system (wind/solar). Let me know your opinions.
thanks

I think hybrid systems are good for all the reasons diversity is good. The weakness I see in any alternative energy's sustainability is the storage of electricity.. i.e. batteries.

I'm excited by this turbanless innovation:

I'd like to combine this with air compression to power a vehicle.

I know the manufacturing aspect is a bit high-demand and -tech, but some university students have figured out how to make hydrogen peroxide from fuel cells. What a way to store surplus wind energy! Something that can be burned with sugar as a fuel, something that can harmlessly sanitize and oxygenate water...

m.k., love your links and ideas...! thanks

I have a windy spot, that is on grid...I foresee free unlimited power for my home and vehicle. Vehicle must be capable of highway speeds and have range of 120 mi or 2 hours at 60 mph.
