Lage: zwischen Dresden & Leipzig, nähe Collmvulkan.
Die Drachenmühlen Insel liegt umgeben von Auen, Erlen, Wassergräben, angrenzend an ein Naturschutzgebiet für Frühjahresblüher und wir befinden uns in mitten dem FFH (Flora und Fauna Habitat) Gebiet der europäischen Union.
Etwas entfernt im Wald: Der Collmvulkan mit seinen 700.000.000 Jahren, min. 5000 Jahre alte Hügelgräber & Opfersteine, einem Wüsten Schloss , Thinglinde mit ca. 1200 Jahren …
Die Mühle an sich ist 1830 aus Feldstein und Schiefer wieder auferbaut, was davor lag ist ein verschleiertes sich lüftendes Geheimnis. Zum Anwesen gehören noch ein großes Backhaus, Kornspeicher, Scheune, Gewölbestallungen & ein malerisches Hühnerhaus … & jede menge Arbeit! All die Gebäude kreisen um einen gepflasterten und von Kräutern bewachsenen Hof.
WWOOFerInnen können hier einiges lernen z.B.: Bio-Regionaler Animismus, bestimmen von Flora & Fauna, Permakultur, …
Unsere Aktionen sind: z.B. Biomeiler, Baumhäuser, Treebogs, Jurtenbau ...
Handwerklichkeiten: z.B. Holzarbeiten, Maurern, Sensen, Zäune pflanzen, Schafe scheren …
Selbstversorgung: Sammeln von Wildkräutern für Salat & Suppen, einkochen von Obst & Gemüse zu Chutney & Marmelade, Brot backen, Kochen, Kräuter trocknen & verarbeiten, Bierbrauen, Räuchern ...
Tiere: Schafe, Ziegen, Hühner, Enten und Wildlife!

O V Europa is a registered non-profit association which provides it's members with a third party liability and personal accident, injury and illness insurance suited to volunteer work.
The cost of joining OV Europa is Euro 25.oo for one year, including the insurance premium.
The association has been formed to respond to the need for a suitable insurance at a low cost for people whilst collaborating on volunteer projects worldwide.
The association can also provide information regarding visas, permits, health and medical care requirements within Europe.
Who We Are
The association was formed by WWOOF Italy and Allianz SpA. It is registered in Italy at the same address as WWOOF Italy and run by the same people.
The associations council is:

Why an Association ?
By insuring the associations members as a group rather than single individuals the insurance companies are able to eliminate the cost of paperwork and contracts for individual policies. This results in them being able to provide the insurance cover at a much lower price. This saving is passed on to the associations members in the form of a lower membership fee.
