On the DNB tip I would suggest Hive's Devious Methods (and oldie but a goodie), Pendlum's hold your colors (classic), Dillinja. On Wednesday night I saw Synical in the back room at gods and he was tearing it up and I also really enjoyed Jimini Cricket from Portland if you like uber happy hardcore. Shpongle is cool as shit and if you like them you may really like Hive. It's really heady DNB that takes you on a journey with the music creator. Also a fellow tribe-er DJ Everyday is always good for rockin' your booty. Try going to www.pandora.com and signing up. I love going there. It's a fee way to experiment with music. Put in one artist and it makes other suggestions based on what you like. Good luck.

Tue, February 5, 2008 - 8:37 AMi kid ... have spent the winter tracking down artists to help juice my creativity and inspire me to evolve musically. Kilowatts (ground State), Ailo (concepts), Dream Lab (cosmotherapy), Kuba (through a lense), bluetech(all), various cafe del mar, and the list goes on. I even learned a lil about how to DJ by putting these artists together on the turntables; which is an accomplishment.
