<div>Q:How would you describe your music? <br/> <br/>A:It's hard to describe the kinds of music that we're playing and making these days; the boundaries between musical genres are creating sub-sub-sub genres and super-super-super genres... leading to genre names that're several words long, or genres that no-one's ever heard of before and won't recognize. Still, we'll do our best: We describe our music as a chill blend of ethnic vocals and percussion infusing undulating, bouncy electronic rhythms and basslines with etheric soft synth sequences. <br/> <br/> Q:When did both of you first begin DJ'ing? <br/> <br/>A:We both begun DJ'ing in our early teens, as a sporatic hobby. It was some kind of vision for each of us to finally fill the role of the DJ... something about being so close to the music was always appealing. DJ'ing became more of a focus for us, collectively and individually, about a 2 years ago. As soon as we begun to spend time together, we began to have ideas streaming through us. We've always found inspiration in each other. <br/> <br/>Q:How old are both of you? <br/> <br/>A:Anne's 28 and Sky's 27. <br/> <br/>Q:What are your real names? <br/> <br/>A:Real names? Oh, you mean what our parent's named us... that would be, "Anne Louise"... and, "Sky Makai".... really. <br/> <br/>Q:Where are you both originally from? <br/> <br/>A:Anne's from Ann Arbor, Michigan... Sky's from Boulder, Colorado. <br/> <br/>Q:How long have you live in Hilo? <br/> <br/>A:How long we live Hilo?.. Long enough talk pidgin, bra... both about 5 years.
