<div>flipside 2007 - Symphony of Construction <br/> <br/>cross-posted from (my blog): <br/>http://people.tribe.net/eyeburn <br/> <br/>Toady was working in Dallas all week, so we didn't actually arrive @ flipside until Saturday early evening. <br/>Our first interaction was one of my favs: We're idling along and a group directing traffic halts us. <br/>This is to avoid bumping into a 15 foot diameter 20 sided die. <br/> <br/>guy #2 "excuse, we're going to need one of you to step out of the car please" <br/>I step out grinning ear to ear, Toady is in the car laughing. <br/>guy #1 "you must roll a 14 or higher to pass" <br/>me "dude, there's no way" <br/>[pause] <br/>me "what if it runs over someone?" <br/>guy #2 "it's ok, we have safeties in place" <br/>I step up and shove the gigantor die as hard as I can (it was pretty heavy and awkward to roll). <br/>*boom bonka bonka bonka stop* <br/>guy #2 "he rolled a 16!
