I have two that worked for years then all of a sudden they both only take pics at F stop M90, whatever that is. I tried new batteries, twisting, clicking, tapping, turning...... and nothing seems to fix either one of my poor little Nikons :( Help! I miss them!!

Re: Anyone know anything about old Nikon FE3's?
Sat, December 9, 2006 - 10:57 PMAre you sure they aren't actually a Nikon F3? If they are, the Nikon F3 will read m80 when there isn't a roll of film in it, or when you haven't advanced to frame one, it reads M80, I believe. Once you get past the first frame, you should get a regular reading. If you have two cameras, and they are reeading the same thing, chances are it's something that you did, if it isn't the film feature. Make sure the dial is set to the "A" mark, and see if that helps. You can change it by pushing down on the silver button in the middle of the ring with film speeds. Rotate it until you get the green A pointing to the prism housing, which should have a white line on it. This sets you to Auto . Let me know if this helps, and good luck...
