Karl Baba's Burning Man Photos

I hope folks enjoy my images at

www.printroom.com/ViewGallery.asp

If anyone knows the creators of any Art Car or Art not already credited, I'd love to include that on the image and send them a file. Email me.

I have a few more images coming and need to change the order of the images, but hey, I haven't unpacked much either. I have some Zen treatments that I hope to do when late falls gives me some creative time

Print sales were authorized by Burning Man and Burning Man receives 10%. Artists and those pictured can email me for free files or prints at cost.

Many thanks and blessings to all the awesome folks I met and didn't meet this year.

peace

    Wow Karl,
Great Photos!!! You're a very good photographer, I didn't see a bad shot in the bunch! (Which means you're following the "good Photographer" rule: Never show your BAD images) *grin*

Some are really stunning images. I'd recommend shopping them around and seeing someone wants to publish some of them.

Thanks for sharing these excellent shots.

Thanks for the kind words Bruce

I think I might be able to do better, but I'm not one to be hard on myself. It's the first time I've been to this event and I've noticed, from shooting Yosemite, that once I've covered the obvious angles and subject, that I'm free to put more Art into my choices.

Buy hey, Burning Man has a lot of spectacle so that makes it easier as well

But thanks! Like many artists, I suck at getting around to the marketing part.

      Peace

    Very nice Karl!

I took my equipment, but when I got there I was so entranced by all the imagery that I took very few photos...kudos to guys like you who are better able to document than I am! I find myself doing the same thing when I shoot concerts.

Once again nice work and thanks for sharing.

      Thanks for the kind words.

I also left my camera in camp 90% of the time. It's always important to find the balance between photographic creativity and just being in the moment without it.

I can thank the Abraxas Dragon Art car for giving me a means to photograph the Burns without being a slave to the camera for a few evenings, and then only worried about the camera a few times during good light and good night.

      Peace
