I've been in a funk these days. Is there more to Pierre Valley than just its restaurants and cafes? Don't get me wrong, our restaurants and nightlife are some of the best in the city. It's just that sometimes I feel like I want more. More meaning, less ice cream. More philosophical conversations about Bananarama with people who wear velvet smoking jackets, and less puking in the gutter on my way home from Bliss Bar. Maybe I need to move to the Marina. It's cleaner there.
