Ok, we're officially half way through this year. Can you believe it!?! I wanted to check in with everyone's Pilates goals. How are we doing?

Re: Pilates goal check in
Thu, July 24, 2008 - 7:22 AMMy goal was to build a home practice of an hour of yoga a day, but if I'm REALLY honest, I feel that being flexible is more important than a fixed time or a fixed program, so my new goal is: no fixed programs, but doing what I feel like doing that day. And if I feel like pilates, like now, I will do pilates for a while. As long as I do it with attention and make sure it will make me feel really, really good, I'm happy. I've been doing this 'do what you need/feel' thing for a short while now, taking it one day at a time and it's really weird, because I'm used to having lots of goals and fixed programs etc. It's what I need right now though, and kind of adventurous as well to tune into what I/my body needs that day, and doing it, whether it be a short, long yoga program, something from a book, cd or vid, or pilates, or my own yoga sequence... or whatever goes!
