Thanks for this forum I really have loved reading the stories and replies.

Some happy Blue Bear news. When I returned home my new partner who was very supportive of my solo trip to Burning Man presented me with a small chenille blue bear he had found on a thrift store record scouting trip, since then we find them everywhere, garage sales, dollar stores, thrift stores.... We rescue them and have started finding new homes for them.. So far everyone at my office has one and they sure brighten up the place. It is great to see professional type folks stroking their bears and making them talk to each other. Apparently they are great stress relievers.

We plan on bringing those still in need of new homes to Burning Man next year. If anyone has any good ideas about other places or groups where Blue Bears may be of use please let me know.
