Play Dead is a blank canvass with a little blood splattered on it.

Here, we give our demons a limelight without allowing them to be taken too seriously.

Play Dead is performance that focuses on the line between the comedic and the creepy, with an ever-changing cast of contributors from various theatrical backgrounds. Working organically inside of themes and concepts close to our hearts, our shows are character-based, with improvisation being our meter.

The rule of every show: there must be Death. We borrow from vaudeville, sketch, drag, cabaret, and more traditional theater without being any one of these things. We are the darker side of what SNL misses. Straddling the line between…mmm…straddling…
