SAN FRANCISCO, CA - Om Records announces Summer Sessions 2 - Mixed by long time Om family members DJ Heather and Onionz - coming this June. Following the success of the first volume of the series mixed by Groove Junkies, Chuck Love and DJ Fluid, Summer Sessions 2 aims to keep the good time vibes of dancing in the sunshine going, with the finest in house music as only this time of year can bring. But you don’t need to live in a tropical surrounding to feel this album, an iPod and a stroll through the neighborhood, windows down in the car, or a simple boom box on the front porch will do just fine!

DJ Heather is an artist who defies conformity, defines quality and continues to nurture her solid skills for soul music of the technological generation.

A pioneering veteran of the Chicago DJ scene, Heather has done it all. As a member of the first all female DJ collective Super Jane (w/ Om label mate Colette), a label founder and artist on her own Black Cherry Recordings imprint, a critically acclaimed Fabric resident DJ, a 2007 Coachella Music Festival Performer, and an artist featured in the hugely successful ‘House of Om’ series on Om - DJ Heather proves that a woman’s work is never done!
