Hello lovelies...chim-chim here to introduce thyself unto you :)
I just moved close to Richmond, and I'm interested in meeting the PLFsters!!!
I hung out with the DFW Burners in Texas, and although I have yet to make it to the big Burn, I've been to the regionals (Flipside, Myschievia)
Anyhowz, from what I've googled since I've gotten here, most of the clubs in Richmond are strip bars, and there are very few live concert venues around. And if there's one thing you wanna know about me, it's the passion I have for music--ALL types.

Sat, September 12, 2009 - 7:58 PMI lived in Richmond for about 15 years, and loved the town but you're right. The nightlife is really - well, idiotic, but in a bad way. PLF throws it down right, and don't forget to go to Podomatic www.podomatic.com/search and check out some of their grooves. It's like, epic groovy. Sorry, FUCKIN epic groovy. -

i'm visiting richmond/c-ville in early november 5-10. is there anything happening? i love my brother in c-ville but his entertainment skills are lacking. although, if anyone is looking for an avid strategic game player, i could introduce you.
yes, i live in kansas - because of that i have traveled for years to attend flipside, myschievia and interfuse.

This is the place to be for Halloween if you all are around then. We'll be djing and spinning fire outside of Gallery 5, which is 200 W. Marshall St.
Misgivings, sorry you wont be around for halloween, but we should be doing a very similar thing for the First Friday Art Walks in Nov. Definitely fire spinning outside, perhaps music, and there's always great art inside the gallery.
Sorry it took so long to get back, many of us have switched to facebook because tribe has been rather flakey lately. Hope you all make it to either of those! Come say hi :)
