<div>Hello there, <br/>I was very excited today to learn that there is a local community built around busking. Busking is something I have long wanted to do in Seattle--the opportunities were around me all my life growing up in Seattle, and I have fond memories of being entertained by others. Now I would love to return the favor to this city and those who walk her streets and enjoy her festivals. <br/> <br/>I would love to hear some advice from current buskers, and learn some wisdom from your experiences. <br/> <br/>Tell me how you got started. <br/>What did you have to do to "get in" on the community and the permits et al? <br/>Where do you like to busk and why? <br/>Any favorite anecdotes? <br/> <br/>Additionally, I would love to hear specifically from dancers! I have met many musicians/singers, but very few dancers. Dance is what I and my group would like to do, and anything specific to that would be of particular interest.
