Early morning blast
peacocks screech
mind flies (a hundred scenarios)

life goes on
exercise, coffee, jeans
Clinic, blood test
('What? Didn't you hear?
Army orders not to leave the house"
"What?"
"Yeah. Stay inside. Can't leave till they give us the all-clear")

One hour later: All Clear!

and life moves outa stuck to on again

may 22/08
a day in the life in the western negev
may peace move a little closer
