I'm using the video tutorials on homeofpoi to teach myself how to spin. I'm trying to do a tuck turn, but can't seem to grasp it. On top of that, it's screwing up my comfort with doing low turns right after I thought I had it down.
Any advice or different ways to explain a tuck turn?

It's simple, small things that seem to get me every time!

Re: Tuck turns
Mon, March 24, 2008 - 5:58 AMThe other thing I commonly see when people are learning turns is they dont actually turn. when you do a turn your body should do a complete 180 and your poi will be spinning the opposite direction. like if your facing west spinning forward and do a turn, youll be facing east and spinning backwards. later on youll realize how to do the turns with out turning your body completely but until then its your best bet.
