I prefer the original one. It doesn't have as much of a manipulated meaning as that one doesn't. The snake on the newer one looks like a child drew that one.

Hmm. So we're down to deciding between animal flags and flags representing defeated non-existent countries.
The symbolism of a snake somehow misses the mark with me.
Wouldn't it be better to have a flag with a 12-headed flying fire-breathing anaconda... maybe it could have a side-kick, too... maybe a winged lion with a unicorn's horn... just putting some ideas out there. Rainbows and sparkly things in the background could be nice, too, if it wasn't too expensive. -

Strange how everyone wants to wave the flag all of a sudden, the same flag that stands for imperialism and genocide.
You should be thinking of a flag to represent the remnants of the US. Hopefully it won't be out of line to suggest this one.

If Franklin was the first to reference a rattlesnake, he was also the one to propose a turkey as the national bird - both edible (I guess) - though I'd prefer eating a turkey... Gerbil's last post is a long-time favorite... yet, oddly, also a flag of consumerism...

Hey, what can I say, Gerbil? I couldn't have done it if JM hadn't "enabled" me by mentioning rainbows.
Good flag choice, by the way. I recognized just about all of those new stars..

This was mine a few years ago during my rapid radicalization. I even bought one, but now I wouldn't even buy that one either, but to explain is to digress.
