Start spreading the news rumors.
As the details finally begin to emerge from the Israeli air strike on a “a partly constructed nuclear reactor of North Korean design” in Syria last month, MSNBC just can’t help but ask: “Will US Copy Israel?” and bomb Iran? Despite the fact that MSNBC correspondent Kevin Corke even admits his sources in the pentagon both on and off the record tell him a “resounding no” and they deny that Israel’s strike “had any impact whatsoever on US policy,” MSNBC chose to run this piece with the subheading “U.S. Weighs Options on Iran After Israel Sends Jets to Attack Syria” anyway, because it “makes for interesting conversation.”

Re: MSNBC Beating Drums For Bombing Iran
Mon, October 15, 2007 - 10:36 PMDoes anyone else find it intriguing that Rice would say it is time for a Palestinian state right now? This administration doesn’t give a flying f**k through a donut hole about the Palestinians. So what is with this message of hope? Is it to punish Israel for bombing without telling daddy Bush first? Or is it to hold out an olive branch to the rest of the Middle East when the US starts bombing Iran? -

Re: MSNBC Beating Drums For Bombing Iran
Mon, October 15, 2007 - 10:37 PMIt's something like that. I can't tell for certain exactly what. -

Mon, October 15, 2007 - 10:40 PMThe whole "time for a Palestinian state" thing left me wondering "what in the fucking hell is going on here?" Why *NOW*?? Why not long, long ago??? -

Re: MSNBC Beating Drums For Bombing Iran
Tue, October 16, 2007 - 8:33 AMWhy did it take so long for a peace agreement in Ireland? These things take time and Palestine/Israel may have come to an agreement that suits both entities.
Let's just hope that both sides keep to the deal and then groups like Hamas will either have no reason to cause problems anymore or they will have to come up with a new excuse. -

Re: MSNBC Beating Drums For Bombing Iran
Tue, October 16, 2007 - 8:41 AMI think Bush is trying to gain points. His administration is coming to an end and he hasn't accomplished anything. Also, I think they feel that Abbas is someone they can control and want to get a Palestinian state headed by someone who is relatively pliable.
It's not about caring for the Palestinian people, it's about the "Bush legacy." croak, puke! -

Wed, October 17, 2007 - 9:25 PM<His administration is coming to an end and he hasn't accomplished anything. >
His accomplishments are numerous!
1) he has more than doubled the national debt. Now the country is at a point where it faces economic collapse.
2) He has inflamed the Middle East and created hundred of thousands of additional terrorists and terrorists in waiting.
3) He made gave the country domestic spying.
4) He made the US a state that tortures people and ignores the Geneva convention.
5) He got the DoD hooked on mercenaries. (I guess the just say no to mercenaries campaign didn’t work)
One thing about the Iran news on the national propaganda waves that I have been missing was the Putin declaration that Caspian oil will be controlled by Caspian countries. The news media keeps the focus on Iran and nuclear weapons and ignores oil.
